Top Access Points 2023

TP Link EAP690E
The EAP690E comes stacked with a 10G ethernet port, Wifi 6E and Quad Band Frequency. With those features, it is able to get a theoretical throughput of 11Gbps. Thanks to MU-MIMO and OFDMA the access point is able to manage up to 2,000 devices and connections remain stable. Although it can manage a large client base, the access point seems to only cover approximately 1800 Sq Ft.

Unifi U6 Enterprise
The Unifi U6 Enterprise comes packed with a 2.5G RJ45 port powered by POE+. Using Wifi 6E, the device takes advantage of the 6GHz spectrum. With that said, using tri band (2.4GHz, 5GHz and 6GHz) and MU-MIMO technology, the U6 access point has a theoretical throughput of 10.2Gbps. That kind of speed is impressive, however, it should be noted that this device truly shines in congested environments.
